THE first solo exhibition by Hebden Bridge artist Lynda Thomas will take place at The Water Street Gallery, Todmorden in September.
Titled, "The Chalk Chair and other stories of childhood', Lynda captures and illustrates in lino prints, her own memories and those of her family, to tell tales of growing up in the 1950s.
Some images will be viewed as pure nostalgia while others have a dark twist to the tale.
Lynda is a recent graduate in Visual Arts, having studied at Todmorden College, and has her studio at Machpelah Art Works, Machpelah Mill, Hebden Bridge.
Her work will be on view from Thursday September 25 to Sunday September 28 from 11am to 4pm.
- An exhibition featuring 3-D holograms is being displayed at Hebden Bridge Arts Festival Gallery.
The show is being displayed at the centre until August 18 and will showcase the work of holograpic artist, Anthony Hopkins.
His work was previously shown at Camden Lock in London.
Admission is free, for more information contact the gallery at Albert Street.
